Exciting Road Ahead

Feb 15, 2003

The Fall 2003 shooting schedule is winding down. An interesting collaborative project for Florida Crystals and Starbucks brought Kim back to some challenging food work. The first week of Kim and crew will be shooting in Islamorada, FL. at The Moorings Village for a summer 2004 project for Coldwater Creek. Future assignments with Travel Smith and Coldwater Creek promise to bring on some exciting travel as well as exciting work. Trips planned in the coming months include Argentina or Brazil, SA., Alberta, CN. and Phoenix, AZ.

Early Spring assignment will take Kim and crew to St. Barts. Chantal Cloutier will act as an intermediary and provide production services, locations and of course her charm and grace.

After a relaxing Fourth of July weekend, Kim heads back to Sonoma and St. Helena for a week of holiday shooting for Coldwater Creek. Mid July will include a trip to Philadelphia to visit family, New York City and Ft Lauderdale, FL.

A three day scouting trip in the beginning of June for Holiday and Resort shoots will take Kim to the South Coast, Laguna, Newport Beach and La Jolla. The first week of July looks like another trip to Napa/Sonoma for some last minute Fall work. Then in July a visit to New York City and Philadelphia followed by some R & R in Charleston, SC.

After a great week of shooting in Charleston, South Carolina for Coldwater Creek, Kim is working on some new promotion pieces and prepping for a trip to Northern California and Sonama for the Travel Smith Fall catalog.

Having returned from Banff a few weeks ago, Kim has thawed out nicely in the heat and humidity of the American South. The spectacular views and classic mountain hotels in western Canada provided a wonderful winter backdrop for the Holiday 2003 Travel Smith catalog. Heading the opposite direction in early May, Kim travels to Charleston, SC. for the Coldwater Creek autumn ads and store banners.

Many New York trips later. Kim will divide his time between Santa Barbara and New York. Kim will produce his East Coast based work out of the New York City area. West Coast based shoots will be based in Santa Barbara, California. Exciting new assignments have been popping up as of late. Coldwater Creek has some new signage and branding happening that Kim is collaborating on. On location/on figure digital testing will take place as well on their next project.

The big February news is the addition of a new puppy into the mix. A feisty red Cairn Terrier named "Jazs". Please refer to the "Our Dogs" page to see recent photos and read her "Bio". She is now all grown up and enjoys her roll of "impromptu studio manager".
